Unfortunately if you can no longer get gmail access then you can't change login to update sync settings. You need to contact gmail support for this login issue.

Currently, you cannot change the primary email address on your Mozilla Account unless you have access to the existing address. (See: Change the primary email address on your Mozilla account)

If you do not have paid services linked to your existing Mozilla account, you can abandon that one and create a new one with your new email address.
