‘I had Firefox years ago with a now defunct email address. I reinstalled the app using my current address but it continually asks for my OLD password (which is lost). How can I get rid of the password request’ for ‘Firefox’

Nothing more can be done here - one should've setup the new Primary email login before setting up a new login. It's going to ask for this until the user creates a new account and login.
