Suddenly can't print email wirelessly from Thunderbird 52.2.1 using Windows
Get the message that the printer's not online. Have tried rebooting printer, checked set-up on printer and computer/Thunderbird. Had been printing wirelessly from Thunderbird for several years using same set-up/server/printer/computer. Have tried all suggestions in support forum. Any thoughts? Wondering if it is a bug in this version of T'bird.

What errors if any beyond the simple' Printer Offline' are you receiving?
No -- the only message I get is: "The printer is offline. Check that the printer cable is connected and the printer power is on."
This is a message from your computer about your printer and nothing to do with Thunderbird.
Suggestion: switch everything off including the hub, wait a few moments and then switch on hub, then switch on computer and printer.
Printer cable may need replacing. Try a differnt usb port.
Thanks --I can print from every program except Thunderbird, so the problem relates to the program.
Have tried the restart all a couple of times.
Cable's fine -- I can print with it...but I can't print email wirelessly -- without the cable -- which I could do until recently.
Please check to see if your printer drivers are up to date.
Thanks for the suggestion. I checked it out but the most recent driver is installed.
Sometimes resetting the printer in TB will help:

Make sure the wireless printer is recognized by other applications, e.g. Notepad.
Thanks ALL! Problem solved - a combination of resetting the printer and uninstalling and reinstalling the driver.
Great! M
