Windows 8 FF53.0.3 64-bit Samsung Galaxy 3 tablet

I have tried everything I can find online to get sync to work. I opened and account, installed the latest FF from the PlayStore, signed in on both devices, then tried to sync from both my desktop and my tablet, and it just didn't work. I then installed the Samsung Galaxy sync add-on on my desktop, but couldn't find it on my device. Still -- no sync.

I completely uninstalled FF from my device and tried all that again. No sync.

I'm going crazy! Please help. TIA
