Print preview windows fails to remain open for viewing

Selecting print preview generates a quick flashing/closing of the windows for the preview. I just had the latest Windows updates installed: Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems, KB3194496, Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems,KB3176936 on 9/29/16. Neither uninstalled my printer. I first stopped/started the print spooler, no fix. I then uninstalled/installed my printer, no fix. I have a wireless connected HP Office Pro 8610 .
