Firefox for android hangs frequently and fills my sd card with memory reports.

I am running Firefox on my Nexus 5x (Android 6.0.1). It frequently hangs when I try to navigate to another website, and over time it fills up my sd card with memory reports (cc and gc logs). I am guessing that it is hanging in order to generate these reports. I don't want these reports, nor did I ever request them. Can I turn them off?
