I had a new drive installed and before the bookmarks came up right below the bookmark tab. Now they end up on the side of the page
As it states above I used to be able to get my bookmarks in a dropdown right below the bookmark tab. Now after having a ssd drive installed the bookmarks end up as a box labeled library and then I have to look for them. No idea what happened as my laptop works great.

Hi rlotimer, I am not sure what this may have to do with an ssd ?!
There are multiple methods of displaying bookmarks besides the dropdown.
- Bookmarks Sidbar
Probabbly what you are seeing. Keyboard shortcut Ctrl + B toggles that on and off. - Bookmarks Library.
- Bookmarks Toollbar
This is optional and shows only the one folder (Plus any subfolders, so you may create nested dropdowns)- Bookmarks in Firefox_how-do-i-turn-on-the-bookmarks-toolbar
Have you still got the navigtion toolbar displaying, with the bookmarks star menu icons on it ? If not you my need to undo some customisation of your toolbars
Ctrl +b puts the bookmark area where I don,t want it. I want it where it was before which was right below the bookmark tab. Firefox is the browser my wife uses and she likes it like that.
Firefox has three separate "compartments" for bookmarks that display in different areas:
- Menu - displays as a drop-down list
- Toolbar - displays as horizontal bar below the main toolbar
- Unsorted - bottom of classic menu bar Bookmarks menu
Which one is missing?
