I believe this topic has been out there since 2006, if not earlier. Still can't see the Week Number in Thunderbird minicalendar. This is an important feature to very many users. This is the reason I am forced to abandon Tbird for business. What is being done and when can we expect this feature in Tbird?

is that week in semester, week in quarter or week in year. I know of industries where all of those are considered important. Nut that is raised in the bug you have obviously already referenced

Bug 357012 - Week number support in multiweek/month view

This is support, the bug is where the work is done and it is where you might get an idea of when, if ever, the sole developer of calendar might get around to it. That would be the Philipp in the bug
