My computer crashes when I use media on firefox.

May not to do with firefox but sometimes when I watch something on Youtube or another media website (like BBC iplayer radio), my computer would crash in that it doesn't show video and the sound sometimes carries on playing or it does an annoying buzzing noise before my monitor switches off due to no output. My keyboard and mouse don't respond either so I have to force shut down. It has only started happening with the new firefox but like I said, I'm not certain if it is or not that it is firefox. Tech experts, can you help me?

It loads up with the last tabs I had up before the crash and works after that (until some magic moment when it crashes again).
