Since upgrade, my mouse does not move the arrow at a set speed and if I slow the mouse, the arrow slows making it very difficult to stop where I want.

My mouse will move the arrow at a fairly rapid speed at the setting I have chosen, but when I begin to slow the speed of the mouse as I approach what I want to click, the speed of of the arrow comes almost to a stop so that I have to keep replacing the mouse on the pad in order to have enough room to move the arrow.
