I like FF Sync and I like using the Master Password I set up in Options. I use them on all my machines. But why does FF have to constantly ask me my Master Password (MP) every time I boot up? I'm usually drilling down into my bookmarks tree trying to locate my destination when... POP! There's that darn MP dialog box popping up and stopping everything. I have to then start all over. Happens every time.

I tried to train myself to first sign into Sync as soon as I got to the Desktop, but that seems like it should be unnecessary.

Isn't there any way that the MP can be fed to Sync automatically if I am the only one using the machine? Can I eliminate Sync from asking for the password? Any work-arounds at all?

Since the account information for Firefox Sync is stored on Firefox in the regular login and password storage, Firefox Sync needs you to enter the Master Password so that it can see the account information for Firefox Sync in order to sign in and sync.

Unfortunately, there's no way to get Firefox to automatically bypass the Master Password. Firefox doesn't actually know what your Master Password is. That information is not stored on Firefox at all and doing so would defeat the entire purpose of the Master Password feature.
