Commenting on Facebook, try to insert text in the middle of comment, puts it at the end when I post comment. Doesn't happen in Chrome, IE.

Example: I have already typed "Impotant" in the comment box. I navigate the text cursor from the end, with the arrow keys, to between the "o" and the first "t" and type "r". It appears as "Important" until I press Enter to post the comment. Once I press the Enter key, the comment is posted as "Impotantr".

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
