Hi,

My bookmarks in Firefox Android are not sorted as they are with my Firefox Linux and Firefox Windows. The problem started about 4 to 8 weeks ago.

What needs to happen to have Firefox Android sort my bookmarks the same way as my Firefox Linux and Firefox Windows, please?

would be most grateful for any answers to my question.

I have a copy of Firefox Portable, which I tend to use at local libraries.

In the past, the home page of Firefox Portable would show 8 different icons. I could click on One of them, and would be taken straight to the site of that icon. I would be shown the icon for Language Shop, and could then click on it to get into it.

Now, the home page of Firefox Portable still shows 8 different icons, but there is not an icon for Language Shop.

How could I replace one of the icons with Language Shop, please?

I have about 800 bookmarks spread across four different groups in Firefox for Android. While I am really happy that the latest Android version (138) now allows sorting bookmarks by "New to Old," I would love to see the ability to manually adjust the bookmark order through a long press and drag feature.

Being able to arrange bookmarks manually would significantly improve my experience managing such a large number of bookmarks. I truly appreciate the improvements you've made so far and hope that you will consider adding this feature in a future update.

Is it possible to create a bookmark folder in Firefox for Android that is synced (safety reasons) but it's the default folder for bookmarks on Android? Let me give you an example: I want to have in my bookmarks on my smartphone in a very accessible way, bookmarks for some package tracking websites, like UPS, SkyPostal, etc., but they don't need to be so easily accessible on my desktop. So I still want to sync, something like "Mobile Bookmarks", and view on my desktop when I need, but this is the default bookmark folder just for the mobile. Also I need to be able to duplicate bookmark entries, because the same bookmark, let's say SkyPostal, would be in two different places, an easy item on mobile but a harder to find item on desktop.

I love Firefox for Android, but I wish there was an option button for automatically saving shortcuts, which when turned on or off, would not automatically save the shortcuts on the home screen. Please provide such an option.

Maybe my phone gas issues but I have been using Mozilla for so long, I have acquired many bookmarks. I can't save anymore because mu list is so long & tiresome. It nees a drop-down tab to better organize. Might I also suggest a way to alert owners that there is a page they haven't seen in a long time. Also an organizer that is automated.

There are only available sort "A-Z", 'Z-A', -"newest" and "oldest"

This is very inconvenient, because all of those are inconsistent with desktop Firefox, where manually sorted.

Please add possibility to apply sorting, same as on desktop.

I have folders on my computer in tabs e.g. a1, a2, a3 .... a7. And on the android it displays in the first place the last used folder e.g. a4. Similarly e.g. in folder a3 I have bookmarks and folders e.g. b1, b2, dir1, b3, b4, dir2, b5 .... And on android it shows me in a3 e.g. dir2 (because I opened something from it) b10 (because I added on my phone recently), then e.g. b6 because I opened it. Why can't it be like on a computer?

I have thousands of bookmarks. What the hell is wrong with allowing sorting by

(1) date create, (2) date changed (3) AND by name?

I always sort by name. File folders, bookmarks.

By creation date on pixtures.

This is a no brainer. Your bookmarks are not usable. Especially if i dont recall the name. The synced folder names get me to the right subject, scanning the folder contents reviels the targetted link.

Common children, do it right or dont do it.

This most recent update of the Firefox app for Android has suddenly made it so that all of my bookmarks and bookmark folders are out of order. The desktop version does not have this same problem, and syncing between the desktop and mobile accounts does not seem to fix anything.

Another issue I noticed with regards to bookmarks on mobile is that where once I could pull down while in the bookmarks tab to 'refresh' the sync, this feature suddenly does not work either.

I have done 4 total clean re-installs of the app and signed back into my account each time. The app then works as normal, with no bookmarks/sync/refresh issues. Within the next day, however, the app restarts itself and the bookmarks are scrambled again with no sync refresh operating.

I have tooled around the support forums and seen that at least since Ver. 133 other people have had this same issue. The support forums are really not user intuitive and I do not know where to go to have an actual conversation with the developers instead of hoping someone responds to a thread if they feel like it.

I really enjoy using Firefox as my default browser, and have never had this issue before on mobile after any app update until now. If the developers could please take the time to look into this request and work out a solution that doesn't include re-installing the mobile app every other day, I and many others would be very appreciative.

I have firefox on a Windows 10 laptop plus two android phones and two android tablets. The Bookmarks on the laptop, both tablets and one phone are shown in alphabetic order. The Bookmarks on one phone are in random order. How can I make these Bookmarks list in alphabetic order? I have read that I cannot simply reorder the bookmarks, so I probably need to delete the bookmarks, ON THIS PHONE ONLY and definitely not on my other devices. Then would "Sync” import the Bookmarks from "the cloud"? Or would "Sync" export the now-empty "Bookmarks" folder from this phone to the cloud?
