Do you mean when you click on the Firefox icon on the Windows desktop Firefox doesn't start? Have you completed the installation after downloading Firefox? Can you provide the link from where you're downloading Firefox?

Yes, I downloaded the desktop Firefox , but cannot complete the installation. I have Vista, and am wondering if that could be the problem, it isn't Windows 7 or 8, and it may cause the problem that I have.

Firefox supports Vista so that shouldn't be a problem. What version of Firefox are you attempting to install? (From the tags on this ticket it looks like 19.) Can you share the link from which you downloaded Firefox? Did you get it from http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
