After I downloded Firefox 4.0, all of my persona's were gone and any color. After I uninstalled it they were back. What happened?

Everything was white background, no matter what search engine I was using and I could not change any setting to a color or persona. I was able to click on it, it would say added, but when I went to the page, nothing. When I uninstalled and went back to 3.6, my colors and personas returned.
