I installed 3.6.8. Now all I can get is the "Meet your browser" page. Houw can I get rid of this and get to my original home page with the Google facility?

I downloaded and installed version 3.6.8. Now when starting Firefox I always get the "Meet your browser " page. Also when I select "Home" in the toolbar, I get the same page. The "Meet your browser" page seems to have no exit, other than going to the Mozilla home site, which doesn't help. This is a disaster at this time for me.
