installing new apps or already installed. if I have installed why do they acknowlege that fact instead of keep asking to install?

I am not sure that I understand your question. How can we help you with Firefox for Android?
OK: Since I requested Firefox as the default on my PC and Android - do other defaults interfere like Goggle (which I need for gmail). Firefox and/or Google ask me to install something I have already installed. Why do they not acknowledge that I already have it? May not know how to ask questions intelligently. Bernice.
