I've long synced my Firefox bookmarks with my iOS devices, using the iCloud control panel for Windows, and the add-on/extension for Firefox. It's worked perfectly on multiple computers, iOS devices until this week. All the key apps (Firefox, Windows, iCloud) are updated to their latest versions, but suddenly the sync won't work.

When I open the iCloud control panel the top 3 options (iCloud Drive, Photos, Mail/Contacts/Calendars and Tasks) are checked to sync. the fourth, Bookmarks, is not. If I check that box, the Options pop up appears, and I select "Firefox." So then I choose "Apply" at the bottom, but then I get the following error "iCloud Bookmarks extension for Firefox is required. Download the extension to keep your Firefox bookmarks up to date with the Safari bookmarks on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac." (see picture) If I select "download" then I go to the Firefox add-ons page and it shows that I've already installed this extension. Things just keep going in this loop where iCloud doesn't recognize that the extension is installed and won't all me to opt for iCloud to sync using an already installed add-on that it tells me to install!

I've tried opening/closing Firefox. Deleting then installing the add-on. Deleting then reinstalling iCloud. This was working well previously and now just keeps getting caught up in this non-functional loop. Apple support couldn't help and so I'm wondering if anyone here has found a solution.
