Immediately upon automatically updating Firefox to 29.0.1, a noticeable reduction in performance of Flash plugin occurred. While tolerable for applications that require limited user input (e.g. streaming video or audio), the loss of frame rate and input latency is unacceptable for games and other interactive applications.

I use Win7 and Flash Player 13.0.0.206; no concurrent updates were made to these products. The only change made between reasonable Flash performance and terrible Flash performance was the Firefox update. I do use FlashBlock plugin, but it was not updated since Firefox was updated and has never caused performance issues before.

The only suggestion I have been able to find so far is to disable hardware acceleration, which did not help at all.
