When I open Firefox, since last upgrade 13-november-2025(version 145.0) it's always in full screen ! I hate this configuration and I want to come back to the previous "normal" starting configuration. Everytime I open Firefox I must do "F11" now. How can I do ?

This is only an issue in the firefox browser - chrome, safari and edge are fine but the drop down text in firefox on some form drop downs is a weird unintelligible font

Hello! I am running firefox and had an issue with the URL bar. Before, the URL bar was at the top and right underneath it would appear the open tabs; underneath that were my bookmarks. I don't know what I pressed, but now, the tabs and bookmarks are on top (on the same line), and the URL bar is underneath that -- see screenshot for details. It is a small issue, but it is driving me crazy, since all my mucle memory on where to click etc. is gone. Furthermore, the bookmarks now crowd the open tabs, so if I have a lot of open tabs, I cannot see them all at a glance.

I tried looking for settings, but all settings for customizing the toolbar are about adding items to the URL bar, not switching the position of URL bar and the open tabs. How do I fix this?

Insbesondere bei dem Aufruf meiner Überwachungskamera sowie der Wallbox innerhalb meines Heimnetzwerkes hat Firefox Probleme mit der Darstellung. Bei der Instar Kamera zeigt Firefox das Bild, aber anfangs nur extrem abgehackt, nach einigen Sekunden nur noch als Standbild mit einem sich drehenden Kreis in dem "Video läuft" steht (Anhang). Mit Edge funktioniert das Live Videobild einwandfrei. Ich möchte aber ungerne auf Edge umsteigen. An welchen Einstellungen kann das liegen? Ich habe die Adresse der Kamera schon in allen Bereichen als Ausnahme eingestellt. daran liegt es nicht.

When a PDF has been edited and needs to be saved again, the save dialog does not show the location of the current PDF, but rather the location where the last PDF was saved. I couldn't find a way to change this!

I just got the profiles update and I'm having a lot of issues with firefox, but I'm not sure what I did wrong. When I change windows both too and from firefox, the menu pops up. As I continue to use it, my controls slowly begin to change. My scroll wheel changed from moving up and down the page to the same command that happens when you go backwards or forwards using the buttons in the top left. I lose the ability to use the windows key on my keyboard. Eventually, I lose the ability to type entirely sometimes, so all the keys from the keyboard just stop working, even though it's plugged in and recognized. Also, if I have firefox open for too long in the background, I'm unable to tab out of whatever window I'm presently in, even if firefox is just running in the background.

I've isolated the problem to just firefox by using other browsers like edge and chrome. While having both of these programs on in the background or during regular use I saw no issues with my pc.

I've tried the main trouble shooting steps provided by firefox, but none have helped. I also thought maybe some of the extensions were causing problems so I stopped using all the ones not from firefox directly, but this also didn't help. I still have the container extensions on.

I think I'm on the latest necessary windows 11 update, but maybe need to go to 25h2? I'm just guessing at this point.

What am I doing wrong with the new update and how do I use the profiles properly so I don't have these issues?

tried few below steps Remove all Extensions, Reset Browser again if same issue remove the user profile and login with the new profile if same issue try un-installing and re-installing browser with the different account did a clean re installation by removing local files from the help of forced uninstaller reinstalled it but the issue still persist also tested by disabling antivirus although the computer worked with mcafee earlier please provide a solution to this computer is running on win 11 with the latest 25H2 update

Firefox tab crashes whenever I try to open Firefox. I have AOL and Firefox browser. I've tried the close and reload, restart laptop, and redownloading Firefox to no avail. However, I was able to open my AOL and email. I reached this help page using Edge.

The update to v145 completely changed how background color and highlighting of HTML emails are displayed. It was nicer before. Can someone please share which setting in about:config to change to return to HTML display in previous versions?

One of the things I like most about Firefox is the home page with 'tiles' for my most used websites. Since the last upgrade some of my tiles have the website logos but most do not. Is there a way I can fix this?

The tab group suggestion feature is unavailable for me, even though I am on Firefox 145.0 (64-Bit on Windows 11 Pro 25H2). I tried using guides like [one from mozilla] https://www.askvg.com/enable-or-disable-new-ai-powered-smart-tab-groups-in-firefox/ this external about:config editing guide.

The latter does changes to the about:config. A screenshot of my settings, my config, and my Add-ons is attached.

I do not know what is wrong.

When i try to fullscreen youtube, there is a transparent border on the left and top of the window that will not go away normally. The only temporary fix I found was pressing win+d twice to get rid of it. This seems to be a reoccurring issue as this only happens on firefox and nothing else. Please let me know how to fix this permanently. I have also tried firefox safe mode and that curiously didnt have borders but even when i went out of safe mode and disabled all my extensions and cleared my cache, it didnt work.

I ran a Windows 11 Update and after I opened Firefox, it shows all the tabs that were there but each tab indicates that it's 'Crashed'. The 'Tab Crash Reporter' doesn't restore a single tab nor does it react to 'Restore all Tabs'. It looks like Firefox is NOT connecting to the web.

I'm entering this using the Edge browser.

When I am on some webpages, and want to copy and paste a paragraph, of course I highlight it first -- but as of a couple of days ago, the links to pop-up boxes on the page will not highlight. If I go to the same page with Chrome, there is no problem. I can highlight links to other webpages, it is just the ones to pop-up boxes. I have checked and this problem is not machine-specific. I am on a laptop and I checked our desktop and it has the same problem. Perhaps the recent update changed something? I have attached a screenshot of a page from Ancestry.com with the problem -- on the left I have tried to highlight the whole thing, and, as you can see, the links are not highlighted, and if I copy and paste, the links do not work. Hi, after the last update I got this message that resides above my browser window:

I'm on Windows 11.

Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask this because I'm at my wits end on this one. I work on an app that is used by a large amount of users. Starting october 14th around 7am (UTC+1) we started observing weird behavior where a small ammount of traffic (less that 1%) would have abnormal header values:

'custom-header-1':'[custom value], [custom value of a different header]'; 'custom-header-2':'[custome value of header 2], u=4'; 'sec-fetch-site':'cors'; 'priority':'same-origin'; 'sec-fetch-mode':'empty';

As you can see the values of these headers are mixed with one another in almost a deliberate manner (since it appended the u=4 with a comma separator and a space from the priority into the custom header 2 value). There is nothing in the client code that would do this kind of manipulation, and from examining the logs this only happens on Mozilla browser traffic starting version 144 (which was released on October 14th coincidentally). Not that this does not impact all Firefox traffic. In fact, just a tiny fraction of traffic from random users and it's not even all of their traffic of an active session. Just random requests that then fail, are retried and the abnormal headers are gone.

I doubt the fault lies in firefox. If I had to hazard a guess it's probably some extension acting up, but the timing coinciding with the release of 144 give me the only troubleshooting path I have right now since contacting the users is not possible. We've seen it happen 145 as well.

I'm not really looking for a solution here, just a shot in the dark if someone else has experienced this or has some insight as of what this could be.
