Can't enter text into body of post, ghosted (title allows me to type) on select sites (Kodi.tv). Changed to Chrome no issue. win10/64/FF 148

Strangeness... seem to be able to type post title, but not message body in all the forum threads. trying to post gives me an error and I am loggged in. Just re-installed Firefox.. no issues on other sites, the text body is ghosted... but not the title bar. At this point;  I'm locked out of messaging in the forum. (edited)

Installed Chrome and I'm back alive! Guess the new FFox is the issue? (edited)

I use Firefox as my default browser, and I like it very much.

Problem: I received an outlook email with a link to a Docusign envelope. The link would not connect with Docusign.

Work Around: When I used another browser, Microsoft Edge, the link opened up right away.

Additional Information: I use another digital signature program, Dotloop, and it works without any issues on Firefox.

Question: What can I do to make sure that Docusign works properly on Firefox?

I use Firefox as my desktop (and phone) browser. Recently my desktop cannot open my USBank Online banking service (my Android Firefox phone browser works fine). The USBank customer technical service agent tells me that their software does not recognize the Firefox browser - he says that AVG Secure, Microsoft Edge , and Google Chrome work fine). How do I rectify this without changing browsers? I've used Firefox for opver a decade without trouble. Help!

I have a problem connecting to the attached website. I have deleted both the cooking and cache for this website. I don't have a problem with the Chrome browser going to the same website. What do I need to do to get it working again on my up-to-date Firefox? Thanks!

When I click on an e-edition link for a newspaper in gmail, the link doesn't direct to the correct site in Firefox. When I use Safari, and click on the e-edition link for the newspaper, the link works as it should and goes to the correct page. I would like to have the link work on the Firefox browser. Any suggestions. I think there might be some sort of security thing/action which is misdirecitng the link. In the past, this problem happened with other sites.

To open a Venmo account they send you to get.venmo.com and that page will not open despite my changing various security and privacy settings. Does anyone have any experience with this that can help. I'm using Windows 11 (upgraded from Windows 10) and I've noticed that some -- only a few -- websites still think I'm using Windows 10 but I don't think that is the problem.

I’m experiencing an issue with my website Fixit Home ([[Interior design and fitout company|https://fixithome.ae]]) ). Certain pages and elements, including images, navigation, and layout, are not rendering correctly in Firefox, even though they work fine in other browsers like Chrome and Edge.

I’ve checked:

The website code is valid and loads without errors in other browsers

SSL certificate is active and pages are secure

JavaScript and CSS files are loading correctly

Could this be a Firefox-specific compatibility issue, or something related to caching, security settings, or mixed content? I’d appreciate guidance on how to debug and fix this problem so my site works consistently for Firefox users.

On February 22, my bank, (5/3.com), decided a transaction I was making using my debit card was suspicious and locked my account. I contacted them and informed them this was a legitimate transaction and they unlocked my account, and everything seemed to be alright, my card was working all seemed well. That is until I tried to log in and check my balance and I could not get in. I then contacted the bank customer service and spent over an hour with them attempting to resolve this issue to no avail. The person on the line suggested that I try another browser so I connected to Edge, entered my log in and password, (which is stored in my Mozilla), and it went right through which proved two things, my password and login were correct and the issue is with Firefox which is very odd to me since it has always worked perfectly as long as I have been with this bank. Again, this issue began when the bank lock my account and as a side note they did the same thing with my wife's account, she called and they unlocked her account and every thing works as before and she can still use her Firefox and gets right in to the same bank with no issues but not me. Again, this started on the date I provided above and I can use any other browser and I get right in with no problem but I am a loyal Firefox user and I want to only use Firefox so I hope you can assist me in resolving this aggravating issue!

I was unable to login to Etsy via Firefox. I thought maybe I had the wrong password so attempted to select "Forgot password" button, and was unable to do that either. I was able to login successfully via Google Chrome.

Hi everyone,

I am experiencing a persistent rendering issue on my company's website when viewing it through Firefox (v123.0+). The site features heavy-duty industrial units and detailed technical specification tables, which involve several high-resolution PNGs and large CSS grids.

The Issue: When scrolling through our product gallery, the images seem to "flicker" or disappear momentarily. This does not happen in Chrome or Edge, which leads me to believe it’s a Firefox-specific rendering bug related to hardware acceleration or the way Firefox handles large object-fit: cover containers.

Details:

Flickering: Occurs primarily on the "Porta Cabin" product pages where we use an image slider.

Console Errors: I am seeing a "Layout Force Reflow" warning in the Firefox Console that I can't seem to replicate in other browsers.

Troubleshooting: I have tried disabling all extensions and clearing the cache, but the jittery scrolling persists on this specific layout.

Is there a known CSS conflict between Firefox’s rendering engine (Gecko) and modern WordPress grid layouts that might be causing this? I want to make sure our clients using Firefox have a smooth experience.

When I tried to install intuit turbotax it could not install because it kept saying that I have windows 8 or 10 and would not install. I had to use Microsoft Edge and all works. I want to keep firefox. PLEASE HELP I did upgrade in the fall to switch to Windows 11. I verified with the system to be sure and all is there.

When trying to play video from https://www.camelbackresort.com/resort-information/live-cameras, I get the following message:

The media playback was aborted due to a corruption problem or because the media used features your browser did not support.

I'm running Firefox 148 in MacOS Ventura (current version)

I've tried the following:

Turning off Privacy Badger Turning off the default add blocker Starting the program in Safe Mode Refreshing the browser Turning off DRM Controlled Content Turning off Use recommended performance settings Deleting cookies related to the website Clearing cache and temporary files

None of the above had any effect. I was able to play these streams in earlier versions.

The streams will play in Chrome but not in Safari so this may be the result of a change in the website that was not tested outside of Chrome.

Any other suggestions would be helpful.

I just upgraded my Dell desktop computer -- Win 11 and some other hardware tweaks. Everything is fine -- but an old problem that was resolved some time ago in this forum has reemerged. My mouse wheel does not scroll properly at all with Google Calendar. I recall a simple solution on this forum that worked perfectly a few years ago when I originally set up the computer. It has apparently been removed, and I can not find anything to resolve the matter. Does anyone recall the secret formula? Is it hidden away somewhere? The scrolling is so convenient, and the instinct is hard to break.
