D/load notifyer disappears immediately after d/l

I d/load a program and usually a notifying menu appears showing the d/load progress.When the d/load finishes I d/click the file and it installs now after the d/load it vanishes and nothing appears on the d/top,although it shows in the control panel.HELP

Thank you for your info went into Tools-options and found that I had a tick in "Close when d/loads aree finished.I unchecked and the problem was solved.Thanks again
