I have several collections in Firefox on my old phone, things I use regularly. It's the only way to save websites on the phone, so I assumed this would sync to my new phone.

I can see an archived thread about this from 2022, is it really not possible to sync these? It seems bizarre to offer the capability to bookmark sites, but not allow it to live with you.

Will it ever be possible? Or should I stop relying on this feature? The main collection I use frequently is one for recipes.

Right, collections still can't be synced and we don't have any further info about it.

I've reset my phone. I couldn't find my numerous collections. I'm very angry about this. Mozilla must find a solution.

I posted somewhere here about this topis, but I can't find it anymore

it IS possible to sync android collections to desktop firefox, but you can only do 1 collection at a time. Which is a pain in the rear end!!

each item in the collection is synced as a tab. You can save all those tabs to a folder by hitting "shift" + "ctrl" + "D"

it's taken me days to sync 3 years of android collections, I'm not even 1/5th of the way thru yet. You can only sync so many times then it shuts you out for 24 hours.

PLEASE LET US SYNC OUR COLLECTIONS EASIER!!
