Dear Mozilla support team

The alarm on the default Clock app of Firefox 2.0 running on Alcatel One Touch Fire E is not working. I remember that it worked a couple of times when I bought the phone about 3 months ago. Now it's not working.

I use the app as specified in your support(https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/set-alarm-clock-firefox-os).

Please take a look at this issue. Alarm is a very important functionality that i need from my phone.

Hello, Thank you for your question, I understand on the One Touch Fire E that the alarm in the default app has stopped working.

Currenlty in the 2.2 build we are still seeing this: Steps to reproduce: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=998209#c22 however if this not exactly what you did, more information for what was done before this is needed. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1052245

For example, how old is the alarm, does it go off at the wrong time? How and when did you set up the alarm that no longer works? Has it ever been silenced or edited?

It is still being worked on and I currently do not have an ETA, but the more details we have the better.

I tried to reproduce this: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=998209#c22 and my phone behaved as described.

As of yesterday, no alarms were working. I had set an alarm at 7am to repeat every weekday and that never rang. I had set an alarm one night for 5am the next day and that never rang. Then I tried setting an alarm for current time + 2 min. That alarm did not ring. Till then, the phone date and time were being automatically set by the network. I changed it to manual and repeated the 'current time + 2 min' experiment and that did not ring either.

There is an interesting development now. I will describe it step by step:

1. The phone date time setting is at manual. I did as in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=998209#c22 and the alarm rang. 2. I changed the date time setting to automatic. 3. Now I tried the 'current time + 2 min' experiment and now the alarm rings. I tried it again and it rings.

I have set an alarm again for 7am on weekdays. I will keep you posted whether it rings.
