On 28 August I received a blank email with just the sender and subject showing. Since then I have sporadically received completely blank emails, with no sender or subject, while others are arriving as normal. The same is happening when I open Thunderbird on my mobile, but not on my laptop which has an older version installed. It would seem that the issue is caused by update 153.1.1esr, as that was released on 28 Aug.

Can I revert to a previous version of Thunderbird or is there another way to fix this, thanks.

Hi, I use Firefox version 154.0.1. The issue have been going on for years but Im so tired of it.

I have selected that Firefox shall update the browser even when firefox not running. But everytime there is a new update, I just open the browser as usual but it takes more time because not only does the startpage open, a new tab is open as well telling me the browser is updated. I just want it to open the start page, no more, is this possible?

We use a service integration in our organization that only works in the latest ESR version of Firefox (140.14). The latest regular release breaks our integration due to added security policies preventing the software from communicating with Windows services.

After installing the ESR version and disabling auto updates in the settings and adding the DisableAppUpdate registry key, the software still keeps updating to 154 (not the ESR version). I've also chosen to not install the Mozilla Maintenance service when installing the ESR version. I can't seem to find any support articles of people having the same issue. Is there something I may be missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Firefox updated automatically. It has lost my main window of 50+ tabs. What is worse I can't access any other programme though they are running as I can see with alt-tab.

I hate programs that automatically update. How do I turn this feature off permanently?

Why does my office desktop Firefox version update every 2 or 3 time I start my browser? I click on browser and a popup box tells me its updating. The updates are short, 15 to 30 seconds and then the browser opens and runs normally.

On my Ubuntu computer, I find that the New Tab extension does not update like in my Windows computer.

Does the extension update at the same time as on Windows? Is there a way to make Firefox update the extension since going to Extensions does not appear to do that for this extension like those I have installed myself?

Your last update included a Yahoo signup splash screen. Please remove it in the next update. It is annoying and does not serve any purpose other than ccnect me to Yahoo web mail. If I wanted to use that service, I sign in for it. I am content with using Thunderbird. Or at least give me the option of removing it myself. Thanks.

Thunderbird did update while Thunderbird was running. Notice no new emails a few hours later. Icon changed to text picture and all folders showing. Received request if I wanted text icon removed? Said yes. Everything gone. Went to program file, x86 file and only file in Thunderbird visable last nigher were update logs. Now gone, everything in Mozilla maintenance folders gone.

Appdata shows 8/10 profile. Mobile email link to Thunderbird down, not receiving.

When I up dated the latest version of T.B.. when switching form the index desk top page to read the email, the page is blank EXCEPT for "SWITCH TO: EXTENSION" displayed at the top of the page

The T.B. icon is not is not displayed

I see 153.0 (the first release) is marked as ''esr'. But from 153.0.1, there are both esr and release. I would be great to understand the reason behind this approach.
