T B 128.12 The Window which shows saved passwords is TOO SMALL. Cannot see the full entries. Also, the little 2 sided window to expand the entry does NOT work. As it is, it is practically useless.

In the past month or two I have been dealing with a constantly recurring issue with Thunderbird getting my emails. Login to server pop.windstream.net with username ----- failed, and then it gives me the option to retry, enter new password, or cancel. 99% of the time, when I hit retry, my email downloads just fine. But I have multiple email accounts that I have to go through the same song and dance on every time I try to download my messages. Sometimes one or more of my email addresses will check and download ok... sometimes all of them will... sometimes none of them will. But choosing the retry option usually yields me good results so it doesn't appear that I have something in my settings that is wrong?? And usually if I shut down of Thunderbird and a restart of it, all email addresses will down;load perfectly the first time I try.

I wonder if it doesn't correlate with a Thunderbird update? I keep hoping that the issue will be resolved as quickly as it came through another update or something but it's been long enough to really start driving me crazy now so can you help me? What is going on with the normally smoothe and agreeable Thunderbird on my very same computer using the very same email addresses all of a sudden?

We keep getting a box with a message of put in a password to imap or something and we can't reply to emails. It works on my husband's laptop at his office but not the home computer or hhis laptop at home.

new password for email has been accepted by the server host but not being recognized by Thunderbird.

IE: I can sign in to sprctrum.net but cannot add xxx@tampabay.rr.com email address to Thunderbird. I have gone to settings/passwords and first simply changed the existing password to a new one (the same as spectrum.net). Didn't work, then I deleted the whole account in passwords and tried to add it back in but still got this same message.

when I try to run Thunderbird it opens with my folders but the comes up with the message "Login to server imap.gmail.com with username scoteng1961@gmail.com failed." I exported my details then used the thunderbird uninstall program. then reinstalled it. but problem persists. What password is it asking for and how can I get a reminder of it or a chance to change it?

I copied both local Thunderbird file and roaming Thunderbird file, removed everything and reloaded Thunderbird Eclipse. I still cannot access the account on Yahoo mail.

I open my email which is Thunderbird but when I try to sign in to Google they say "The server cannot process the request because it is malformed. It should not be retried. That's all we know."

Ich kann keine Nachrichten mehr erhalten und und kann auch nichts mehr absenden. Es wird immer wieder ein Passwort bzw. neues Passwort verlangt, das war all die Jahre nicht. Auch ein Passwort wird nicht angenommen. Hab schon alles ausprobiert.

one of our email addresses was hacked so we changed the password on that one email account but now we have a pop up window every time we open thunderbird asking to enter the password for two of our addresses. The system won't accept the original password nor the new one. It keeps saying it failed so I can't get into my account passwords screen to see what is going on. We are getting our emails. just that darn window keeps popping up every time. we can send emails too.

I recently lost Internet and waiting for new provider 12/6. I get msg " pls enter your Primary Password on Thunderbird. The one I've had for years fails and new choice through the Mozilla help reset area fails too.....is reset dependent on broadband/Internet? I have inet on phone but CANNOT transfer usage to desktop!!! ? help?
