All of a sudden, i can not log on to my email accounts. I get a "failed" message for all 3 accounts. I get this message. Login to server mail.westpeake.com with username redacted@westpeake.com failed. Brian West www.westpeake.com

I have trouble with the lack of clear outlines in Thunderbird.

In particular:

1. the lack of a line between the message header and the message body makes it harder to find the right spot to scroll messages

2. the lack of a line between the nav-sidebar and each section in settings means I *cannot* scroll settings without getting migraines from the @#$%% nav-sidebar. I have to tab several times and then page down.

I can't enable a high-contrast theme within Thunderbird. I can enable it at system level, but it breaks many other apps, and it breaks my cursor and highlight color settings, and I have to recreate those settings each time.

I can search for "contrast," or "outline," under themes, for example: https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/search/?q=outline&cat=themes&appver=148.0&platform=WINNT

I can't tell which themes are supposed to fix what; I tried 4 of the resulting themes, some added other outlines, but none added the needed outlines I listed above.

I didn't see anything better in choices when setting topic in the "Which topic best describes your question?" related to the site having both English and Spanish mixed together. See attached images. To fix this I log out - delete the login cookies and cache, close browser, revisit Thunderbird site.

Using Thunderbird, when updated to version 148 (64 bit) the highlighted color is dark and does not contrast to the text color (black) so it is hard to read. How to change the color? or the color of the text?

I just got thunderbird and I'm so grateful to the ones who have immediately answered my questions. Now I'm trying to transfer my email of thunderbird from my pc to my cell phone. I keep trying to take picture of the QR code and it won't take it. I tried with my regular camera and it took it fine. Can you help me? Thank you for your time and knowledge.

Sirs: I can logon to Thunderbird but WILL NOT stay on! I downloaded Thunderbird Setup 146.0.1.exe and it still has the same problem. I have been used T'bird for at least 5-8 years and this is the first issue that I have had. I also contribute to Mozilla as I did yesterday. I also Mozilla search engine.

Please share some details on how I may repair this issue. [edited from public forum] @friendlycity.net If we have to uninstall, can I retain my address book?

Hey guys! I believe that if you enable MIR card payment acceptance, you'll see a significant increase in donations. I wanted to donate but I couldn't because my MIR card is not accepted by your payment method. And I don't have another card...

I have created a series of named folders on my thunderbird home screen and I move incoming messages into each folder according to subject matter. I set up a folder named it BUPA some months ago and moved all incoming emails relevant into this folder. Now I have discovered that this folder does not appear under my list of folders on my home page and it has dissappeared. I do not know how this took place but I assume that this collection must still be on yourserver and if so can be restored to me. I would be most grateful if you could assist me with this problem.

It very important to me to be abler to Turn OFF Dark mode when a recent TB update defaulted to that mode.

Why? Because I have vision problems. So I run everything under Windows' "High Contrast" mode, which changes all displayed colors and backgrounds.

Given that is how my system is set,  Windows "flips" your new Dark Mode into a light and low contrast image that I cannot easily read. 

SO For users like me who must depend on Windows High Contrast settings, everything is fine as long as Thunderbird retains the option to TURN OFF DARK MODE. Please be sure to maintain this option Forever, or TB will become unusable to users like me.

There's a community of people who need to be able to turn off single key shortcuts. I'm one of them because I use some speech input, and a stray word from you or an office mate when the focus is in the wrong place can cause a lot of havoc that's difficult to undo. You can also get in trouble when typing – hitting a stray "a" can archive something without you realizing it, and this has happened to me as well. A cat going across the keyboard can also cause an awful lot of havoc that's difficult to track down and reverse. If we could simply turn off single key shortcuts, that would go a long way toward solving this problem. Even better if we could remap them. There is an extension that does this but it's aimed at developers and also requires full control of your computer, which removes is as an option for more people. I think you'd make many people happy building in something simpler -- alternate keybindings for single key shortcuts, a setting to turn the single key shortcuts off, or, best yet, the ability to remap them.
