If I highlight text on any page in Firefox 136.0, and then ask Gemini to "Explain this", Gemini opens in the Sidebar (I have selected the RHS of the screen for the sidebar), but my selected text is not entered into Gemini, and nothing happens. If I try this again while the sidebar is open, I get the message "Something went wrong, try reloading this page" Reloading the page doesn't help.

My firefox keeps redirecting me through two different websites before giving me my search results from yahoo, my preferred search engine is Google and I think my browser has been hjacked, I did a complete wipe of data and Firefox files and a dns cache clear from my computer but it seems it's still happening, any help would be appreciated

Solved: Issue appears to be resolved since update 136.

The appearance of search suggestions changes to a bloated and verbose style whenever the window is not maximized (and it's width is less than twice of the longest first part followed by a dash of the quicksuggestions - in white font in the screenshots).

Observed since update 135 (from 134). Also no custom userChrome.css file is used.

How to keep appreance consistent / compact / normal (in all window-sizes)?

Preferably without a custom userCrhome.css file. I looked through all results on urlbar.quicksuggest in about:config but couldn't figure out any helpful setting.

I have a pixel 6 phone. My default browser on the phone is Firefox. However, when I open the Firefox app to search, a drop down menu in the search bar comes up and asks which browser I want to search in. Google is at the top of this list and Firefox isn't an option. If I want to search with Firefox I have to add a link, but I can't get the link. How to I fix this to only search on firefox?

Why don't you have a setting that lets a person "ignore" search resultes from known bad sources? I realize its my choice for search engine, but don't feel that option is available or even offered with any of their interfaces. The top choices always seem to return absolute false or mis-information. That is one reason I keep switching browsers and search engines. I'm ready to again delete Firefox for not meeting my needs, but instead wasting my time.
