Sirs,

I have Linux Mint 22.3 Cinnamon in Swedish language/locale. I set up two users with Firefox 146. Then, I upgraded Firefox to 147.0, and set up a third user on the same machine.

For the two original users, the Firefox is in all-Swedish locale. Perfect. But, for my newly created user, some is in English. Examples in English; Onboarding, Search in Privacy, and New Tab/Shortcuts. Web pages is no problem. The problem is in Firefox proper.

Strangely, New Tab is in Swedish (Ny flik), if I do not use the shortcuts, i.e. chose Empty new page in Settings. How to fix? Minor annoyance, but I would like everything in Swedish, as in v. 146. Is it a bug that will be fixed by Mozilla, or do I have to do anything to fix it myself, or is it un-fixable? Or, is it maybe anything in Linux? I understand it is some changes between 146 and 147 regarding a couple of rather important things. Thanks. >>> System:

A website I have accessed many times before now redirects me to an italian site. Is this because of the beta translation? I'd like to be able to go to the real site. mecaforpeace.org

1. The browser's built-in full page translation function has poor translation performance, even far lower than other browser functions.

2. The font modification in the settings cannot take effect on the translated page font. For example, when opening a literature page (Elsevier) and clicking on the built-in full page translation, the font does not change.

3. When the page becomes a fixed tab, the prompts before closing multiple tabs will become invalid, and clicking the close button will close all tabs without prompts.

It should be pointed out that the loading speed of this browser is very fast. I feel that using this browser fully utilizes the performance of my computer, rather than some browsers that use a new era CPU and GPU, but the loading speed is the same as more than a decade ago. In addition, this browser has highly personalized features that meet my needs. It would be even better if the above issues could be resolved.

Dlaczego zawsze gdy chcę przetłumaczyć stronę pokazują mi się -tłumaczenie z język polski na język perski? Zawsze muszę wprowadzać, że chcę przetłumaczyć z język angielski na polski na przykład. Nie wiem jak mogę to zmienić by móc szybciej przetłumaczyć konkretną stronę? Skąd zawsze pokazuje się ten język perski. Chcę by zawsze wskazywało mi,że chcę przetłumaczyć np z język angielski na polski i nie potzebuję ustawiać, by wszystkie strony tłumaczyły się na język polski. Może ktoś wie jak usunąć tą podpowiedź tłumaczenia z język polski na język polski i ustawić inną podpowiedź? Dziękuję wraz z pozdrowieniami.

Hi. I've downloaded dictionaries and languages, the check spelling option is enabled in the browser settings. However, browser doesn't want to do it automatically. I have to manually enable it with RMB context menu (and re-select languages) for each website individually. Moreover, when the page refreshes, spell checking turning itself off again in RMB menu (but stays enabled in browser options).

  Is this really how it's supposed to work?

My set homepage on Firefox was in English and has now switched to Spanish. Nothing I do will allow me to change to the English version. I have searched using different engines but every time I pick the English version of the MSN news website after clicking on the link it comes up in Spanish.

Oddly, if I pull up the Firefox private browser it comes up as the English version as it shows in my homepage settings. Any idea on what is going on?

Nach dem Update vom Oktober kann Firefox nicht mehr auf Deutsch angezeigt werden. Die Umstellung auf Deutsch in den Einstellungen haben keine Wirkung. Was ist zu tun?

Tôi muốn hỏi rằng Mozilla có kế hoạch nào để tích hợp sẵn tính năng dịch trang web từ các ngôn ngữ khác sang tiếng Việt trong trình duyệt Firefox hay không? Đây là một tính năng rất cần thiết, đặc biệt là đối với tôi khi thường xuyên đọc tài liệu nước ngoài. Việc gặp phải những từ khó khiến quá trình đọc hiểu trở nên chậm hơn, vì vậy nếu có sẵn tính năng dịch từ ngôn ngữ khác sang tiếng Việt thì sẽ vô cùng tiện lợi và hữu ích. Tôi nhận thấy hiện nay trình duyệt đã hỗ trợ dịch từ tiếng Việt sang tiếng Anh, nhưng chiều ngược lại thì chưa có. Rất mong cộng đồng hoặc đội ngũ phát triển có thể chia sẻ thêm thông tin về việc liệu tính năng này có nằm trong kế hoạch phát triển tương lai hay không, và nếu có thì dự kiến khi nào sẽ ra mắt. Hello! Why do I get all of the Tools Menu in english when I've chosen Norsk Bokmål as standard language for my use at sites/streaming etc. What is the purpose of selecting the desired language if the tool options are only displayed in English?
