I just got a samsung galaxy s26 (old phone is not available); when i accessed my Firefox, my Collections were missing. From other research, it seems that Collections are not available anymore. However, there must be some way to recover the websites that were stored within them, so i can at least rebuild them.

When browsing between two screen, all my saved Firefox tabs disappeared. I have restarted my computer but they do not reload. I really need them (and have not accessed some of them in several weeks so it will be very hard to recover from history.) WHY did they go away and I do I restore them?

I am attempting to copy a FF profile from a Windows 11 machine I created it and am using it on to a brand new windows 11 machine on which I have also just installed FF on. Both machines are at FF 150.0.3. I have done a search online for the methods to do this but they have both failed for me.

The first one I tried was simply copying the profile from the existing (source) machine to the profile folder in the new machine however FF never recognized the copied profile on the new machine (I am using profile manager on both machines).

I then tried copying the profile using the method we used to use a while back to copy profiles which is to let profile manager create a new profile in the new machine, open FF so that it creates that new profile in the profiles folder then delete the contents of that profile leaving it as an empty profile (with the name of the newly created FF profile). Then, I selected and copied the *entire contents* of the source profile I was trying to copy and pasted them into the newly created profile I had just zero'ed out on the new machine so that the new profile now had the exact same contents as the source profile. I knew this copy was successful because it took a while to copy all of the data from the source profile to the new profile and the indicator showed it copying.

Again, FF did not recognize the new profile when I opened FF with the name of the new profile in the prof mgr.t.

Could someone tell me what I am doing wrong or what the problem may be? One problem I had when I first copied the source profile to my 32GB USB drive was a message saying "inbox folder is too big for destination system. " The source profile is 12.72 GB so there is plenty of room on the USB drive for it to fit. I have no idea why FF would have an inbox file so I just skipped it. The rest of the profile copied to completion once I did that but its size after copying was now only 7.65 GB, about 5 GB less than the original. Could this be my problem and if so, how do I fix it? Firefox updated on my macbook pro running Sequoia 15.5 but failed to restore my previously open windows. The option to restore previous session was missing. How can I get my previously open windows back, bearing in mind I'm not not a computer nerd? Thank you, Edouard.

Hello! Is it possible to recover older open tabs from a broken device that had sync activated? For a while they appeared in the hamburger menu in the top right, but now they suddenly disappeared, and under the "connected devices" I cannot click the device or anything. It went broken 2-3 months ago. Best wishes!

help me restore my open windows. this has also happened a couple times before and its very frustrating when i have tabs open to read/refer to later or am in the process of reading and then i have to try and find them all again.

I tried to remove the new 'profile'. I don't want it. now ALL my data, settings & bookmarks are GONE ! Help me revert to & restore the previous account settings !!!!!

The regular version of the browser is open with a bunch of pinned tabs and a private version. And!!! If you close the REGULAR version , but DO NOT close the PRIVATE one before that, then when you try to reopen the REGULAR one, ALL OPEN WINDOWS AND TABS will BE DELETED!!! WHY?!?!

And these tabs are not saved in history, because they WERE NOT active in this session!

Where do developers' hands grow from?! Well, this glitch was a couple of years ago! But now?! A month of work preparation went to hell because of Firefox failure... How do I restore tabs that were just blown away by the browser?

Randomly my firefix just get loggedout and when i immediately logged it in again using mozilla i cant see my bookmarks my other accounts my profiles and all my groups and other information it was like i had made a fresh account all my data is lost what to do ? PLZ help i really want my data back i have been trying to get my data. Working on it for last hour.

Running v150.0.3 on a Windows 10 PC. I have (HAD) 5 windows open with about a dozen tabs in each one. Just realized that one of the windows is gone! Every time I startup Firefox, I always allow it to automatically update the version. I have a bad feeling this missing window issue happened during the most recent update (last week?).

Has anyone ever experienced this issue or have any ideas how this could have happened? Any chance of recovering that window? I have weekly backups of the SSD containing all my Mozilla files & folders (Firefox and Thunderbird).

I lost all my data after installation of new firefox. I have lots of important data in that profile.

I forgot the password to sign in and when I reset, a new profile was created for me and all my data are gone.

Now, I even know the original password. I did not know, I will lose my data. How can I get my data back? Please help.

I updated Firefox a few minutes ago and closed everything to let it finish. When I reopened it, all my bookmarks were gone. I checked the restore option in the Bookmarks menu, but only today's date was available, and clicking it did nothing. I found the bookmarkbackups folder in my profile directory, but there's only one file—859 bytes, which is basically empty. I'm signed into a Firefox account now, but my bookmarks aren't syncing from the server, which suggests they were never synced. Is there any way to recover them, or are they just gone?
