I'm developing an app on localhost. I make an HTTP query which returns the cookie "MyCookie" to be set to "1". When I look into "Network" tab, it all looks as expected. Cookie is received, set and then sent with another call. However it is not displayed in Storage Inspector. Even the "Manage data" panel shows that there are some cookies for the localhost. Why is "MyCookie" not displayed in the Storage Inspector? When I deployed my app it was properly displayed there.

I seem to have issues with some websites not opening & I think it's because Firefox is blocking cookies as on these sites Firefox doesn't even offer to accpet cookies so what do I do. Ive looked at how to turn off cookies but the instructions don't make sense & then even whan I fiddle with some settings it makes no difference. One site I'm trying to open is www.britishairways.com - all I can see is a fuzzy plae image of the webiste.

I hope someone can help - thank you

An error occurred during a connection to www.newyorker.com. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

It looks like firefox is set up to accept cookies. Where do we need to make the change?

Well, I'm trying to make use of the option to delete cookies without deleting some that I allow, but apparently it's buggy. I want Firefox to clear cookies every time I close the browser, however, I manually added some exceptions and even then the browser deletes these exceptions when I close it, if I can add exceptions, it's so they won't be deleted when closing.

Hi Mozilla community,

The Developer Tools -> Storage -> Cookies pane shows cookies currently being stored by Firefox.

If I close my browser, these cookies are automatically deleted. However, if I follow the steps on [1], the cookies are still there, and don't get deleted. *Why?*

Thanks in advance!

Steps to reproduce:

- Start a new Firefox session
- Open Developer Tools -> Storage -> Cookies and see that the list is empty
- Go to youtube.com and click Accept All on the cookies popup
- Developer Tools -> Storage -> Cookies now shows a cookie from YouTube, as per the attached screenshot
- Go to Settings->Privacy & Security->Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> Clear
- Go back to Developer Tools -> Storage -> Cookies and click on the refresh icon
- The YouTube cookie is still there
- However either of the following actions will correctly delete this cookie:

1) closing firefox (with Always Use Private Browsing Mode enabled) 2) manually deleting the cookie from the list in Developer Tools -> Storage -> Cookies

I am unable to sign up for a credit card. The application form does not come up. There is the possibility that it is being blocked, perhaps by a cookie, perhaps by a security feature in the Browser. How do I turn off whatever is blocking the form from popping up?

Skysports.com always asks me to select cookie options. Allow or View options and reject. I always choose the second one. The problem is. I can never choose the options. Opera browser, a better browser than this one, shows the options and allows me to choose. Sky just shows the same box every single page and I have to go through the same sequence every time.

It appears with the latest update, 104.0, my customers are no longer able to log into their accounts with my web site. The console is showing the following warning:

Cookie "JSESSIONID" with the "SameSite" attribute value "Lax" or "Strict" was ommited because of a cross-site redirect.

So the JSESSION ID cookie is being omitted, which is preventing the login process from working correctly.

Going into settings => Privacy and Security and unchecking cookies from the Custom setup still doesn't fix the issue.

The behavior seems to be inconsistent as the same version of Firefox works fine for me on one machine, but generates this warning another, even with the same settings.

Can you explain in more detail why this is happening and steps to fix it?

Thank you, M. Warble

I haven't cleared cookies in a while, so I went to the Manage Cookies and Site Data popup and deleted a bunch of cookies. When I clicked Save Changes, it thought for a while and then closed. When I went back into the popup, nothing was deleted. I've tried that five times, and even closed the browser and tried again.

Why is this basic functionality not working as it should?

Recently, we started using a tool called SalesLoft (https://salesloft.com). I got involved in helping test it. As part of that, I participated in a demo call where I became a test "sales lead" in Salesloft. A few days later, I accessed part of our website as part of my normal job, when our head of sales sent me a screenshot that had popped up in SalesLoft right then; telling them that I had accessed the site, and which particular URL.

I guess this means that our company website had stored a cookie on my laptop that made me trackable to Salesloft.

This to me, must mean that Firefox is allowing 3rd party (Salesloft) cookies on my machine when I access our company website, that allows Salesloft to know who I am and where I am on the internet.

What am I doing wrong here?
