I updated firefox through apt, and since then, have not been able to log into twitch I am on ubuntu 24

apt list --installed | grep firefox firefox/mozilla,now 144.0.2~build1 amd64 [installed]

Attempting to log in returns the generic "Your browser is not currently supported"

I have messenger loaded but with Firefox i can not video call when i want to call a friend or family. I have no way to call any one i do have a web cam. do i need to go to Chrome every time i want to call. Messenger has stopped desktop messenger that was how i could call but now i can not is there some way to Facebook video call on Firefox please let me know thanks I want to stay with Firefox why is there no way to get video calls on Facebook??

I tried to sign into my Allstate.com account today and kept getting error messages.

I called their tech department and they told me that Firefox has been notified a long time ago about this issue but has done nothing about it. I was told to use my email account instead of my user ID to get into my account via Firefox, but that if I do it that way, some functions still won't work on Firefox.

I was told that my Safari browser would work, and it does.

Not sure why Firefox refuses to fix this. This is crazy. I've also had problems signing in some other companies with Firefox recently where it used to work fine. It looks like they are just not keeping up with technology. I have the latest Firefox browser for my Macbook, but as companies update their sites, Firefox is staying behind. I prefer Firefox because of things like uBlock Origin, Enhancer for YouTube, and YouTube Watchmarker which I love, but I've had to use Safari more and more because of this issue.

Exactly how does one let Firefox tech know these things. They don't provide anyway to contact them which doesn't look good.

When trying to access windinfo.eu, I get the message "you are not allowed to preview snippets". Other websites work o.k. I had used the snipping tool on a different website, but not on this one. The problem persists even after deinstalling the snipping tool and restarting. On edge, I get access to windinfo.eu.

First noticed when listening to music on YouTube while playing a game: After a few songs, video would stop, shortly followed by audio (Every few minutes it might play less than a second of audio). Somewhere along the line any interaction with YT itself or even the tab stop working. All other tabs work fine.

Firefox doesn't ever crash, and I can't see anything weird when using a process viewer (I'm not too familiar with Linux diagnostic tools).

So far I've tried:

• Updating Firefox
• Disabling Extensions
• Clearing cache
• Uninstall Firefox
• Multiple Proton games through Steam
• Game running through Wine
• Updated OS

I've tested with Chrome, which had no issues.

I don't recall messing with anything at the time (I did change some settings in firefox, but I think that was a few days before the issue started).

The system asks me to sign in using my passkey or to try another way. The screen is frozen - can't enter passkey, can't choose another way. The only way out is to close firefox. I have no problem signing in with a different browser (Safari).

A website that I have used for years to track my wine cellar invenory has ceased functioning for me. The Web Designer tells me that the problem is a network issue and not his problem. I get no solutions from my ISP.

When I attempt to load the page and look at the Console I get the following error message in response to several GET requests:

Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at https://cdn.ct-static.com/dist/js/ct.min.1530c2da96.js.

A web search tells me that this policy is a browser safety net. Any suggestions for troubleshooting?

Every time I try to upload a file to the Microsoft Copilot 365 I keep getting the "Error Occurred Please Try Again" But when I switch to Chrome. I can upload the same files with no problem. Does anyone know why I get the "Error" with Firefox?

I can not access my Outlook/Hotmail account in FireFox. I get a plank page. I have never had this problem before. I have no problem loading it in other browsers. Did something change? How do I correct this problem?

When i try to insert a screenshot through the clipboard on google or yandex image search, the original image is corrupted. Even i try to upload an image via classic upload-button the same problem reproduise. On other sites there is no similar problem, as well as trying to insert the same image but inside the application windows.

What settings do I need to get Street View to return the street view rather than a black screen in all 4 of my Ubuntu browsers, when it used to work fine but now is trash ?

Ever since the last 3 updates, I have been struggling with F1TV. Prior to the very latest update I could still log in after about 4 attempts of loading the site, but now, I keep on getting error messages. On Edge i can log in with no issues. Any ideas on this issue?

I installed a extension called MAL-Sync and tried to authenticate with one of my accounts. When I went onto the websites Simkl, MyAnimeList and AniList, I was not able to access some features. For Simkl none of the 'buttons' worked, disallowing me from logging in. MyAnimeList gives a "400 Bad Request." AniList says that it requires JavaScript. I checked to see that I have java script enabled, which I do since Firefox has it enabled by default. I checked my extensions and after disabling the only one that said disabled java script it still doesn't work. What do I do?

FF bug (?) (my own tests), Chrome works as expected, was also gemini ai discussed.:

 Why for the following css rule (new FF):
 header:has(~ noscript) ~ * div[class*="-slider"] {width: calc(var(--number-of-slides) * 100%);}
 the --number-of-slides is defined and visible:
 header:has(~ noscript) ~ * div[class*="-slider"] {--number-of-slides: 1}
 but this one isn't at all:
 header:has(~ noscript:has([value="1"])) ~ * div[class*="-slider"] {--number-of-slides: 1}
 And all remembering that in the noscript there is direct descendant having value="1"

As mentioned it works as expected (so average person naturally may think it sould) well for Chrome - noscript is visible, js disabled, controls are visible. Sophisticated use case of :has() but it sort of "has right" to happen.

Hello. I am using Linux Mint 21.3 cinnamon and Firefox 144.0.2 When I use Google maps and the yellow small pointer (cartoon) to go on a specific street, the window come black when shifting to street view. My only extension is disabled, hardware acceleration unchecked, cache cleared and cookies cleared. I have made fresh install and nothing help. Troubleshooting mode allow street view to work fine but normal mode don't work. Google chrome work good. Chromium work good. And finally, Firefox work ok on my Linux mint LMDE 6.

Any idea where to go to solve this issue?

When using desktop Firefox 145.0 for Windows to browse the demo page of Logseq, the division/button to choose a folder on my computer is missing, and the following text is in place instead.

"It seems that your browser doesn't support the new native filesystem API, please use any Chromium 86+ based browser like Chrome, Vivaldi, Edge, etc. Notice that the API doesn't support mobile browsers at the moment."

I've been trying to open Google Docs on Firefox Desktop for a few hours and none of my troubleshooting has worked thus far. I've cleared my browser history and cache, have updated Firefox, disabled all browser extensions one by one, updated my proxy settings, changed my TLS preferences, and even added Google Docs to my trusted sites list on my computer itself; none of this has worked. I've been able to open Google Docs on Google Chrome, so I know that it isn't a problem on Google's end. If there are any other possible solutions, any suggestions would be appreciated.

What should happen is that the main image should change on mouse hover over one of the images from the column on the left. Also it should be possible to use the left or right navigation arrows on the main image to cycle through the images. Neither of these actions is possible. It works fine on Edge.
