Recently clicked to update to the next version of Firefox. Then I get the message "Restart to Update Firefox." I restart Firefox but the message is still there when I click Help > About Firefox. It would appear that the update did not happen for some reason. Do I need to re-install Firefox to get around this problem?

I need to use a Learning Management System called D2L (Brightspace). When I try to log in it says I need an updated browser. I'm using Firefox 125 on Ubuntu Linux. Is there a newer version? Thanks!

Windows 10 is on my laptop but firefox is showing windows 8. i need to have firefox version 124 or above for an online form-filling exercise

Why is there a new update weekly? Every time a new update comes up, I have to download the update and it resets my passwords so I have to log back in to everything. Weekly!! And this has already been happening for weeks. Forget it, I'm going back to google.

I believe I am still using the first , I don't know. I am up to date. Does that mean I am running 2? I don't think, as I have 2 FF. symbols in dock(identical and conflicting I think). I tried to delete first version unsuccessfully and when I restart comp. from start I have to be prompted to set up again. My NordVpn account was doing the same tying with their Protection pro* (removed it- Ok now) . I have had FF #2 on comp. for a long time and I think I'm now just waiting to sign in now as I don't have FF PW-not problem. Making sure if I sign in to FF2 I won't loose my saved FF info... What should I do ? The SH. attached shows both FF's in desktop and Dock.Need guidance - Thanks a lot. Jon D.

Can anyone tell me, please, how long I should be able to keep accessing Firefox on a Windows 10 tablet after Microsoft withdraws support for Windows 10 later this year? I seem to remember being able to access the internet on an old laptop as a 'test' a year or two after I'd stopped using it after Microsoft stopped supporting whatever version of Windows was on it, but I can't remember whether it was via Firefox or Internet Explorer or some other Microsoft browser. If Firefox will still 'work' will Microsoft withdrawing support for Windows 10 have any effect on how well it 'works', and/or how secure etc it will be? I am going to try to install some sort of Linux on the tablet (well) before Microsoft abandons Windows, but if it turns out I can't install Linux, I'm hoping I should at least be able to access the internet via Firefox. Thanks to anyone who can help. (ps I'm not sure whether this is the right place to post this question, it's just that performance and connectivity seemed to me [in my ignorance] to be most appropriate!)

'm not a programmer, but the almost daily new versions of Firefox that you publish make me question whether you know what you're doing? It's a shame to have a product that needs so many constant fixes. I've been using Firefox almost since the beginning, ie 20 years, but I'm seriously considering trying Opera or another browser that doesn't offer a new version every day.

Updated windows 8Apr, now cannot access firefox tabs. Suggested it is due to family options,, but cannot access these in windows settings, nor can i uninstall the update. Help pl!

The title says it all. How do I know my crashed Dell Latitude 5500 (NOT E5500) , 512GB M2 NVME, 32GB DDR4 2400 RAM, W11 Pro x64 is now truly healed and with no glitches due to Firefox 137.0 x64 conflicting with Spectrum Security Suite (most current version by F-Secure {TOTAL} as of 03-31-2025) and thereby crashing the entire computer. I have recovered 90whatever percent functionality to the computer, but cannot take the chance of re-installing Security Suite if there is an unresolved conflict not yet addressed and corrected. I've seen the Mozilla Connection entry about another crash similar to mine involving a different Antimalware APP. And I have seen the posting about the fix applied to correct the same type issues with a Chinese provided Antimalware APP. Has ANYONE addressed Firefox 137.0 induced conflicts with other security APPS like my Spectrum Security Suite? I cannot re-install Security Suite until or IF the conflicts that crashed my Dell 5500 have been addressed and corrected. I'd had to use a 2nd backup computer to go online, find, download, copy to a USB thumbdrive, a "suite" of online security scanners AND proprietary uninstallers, copy all of those to the crashed computer, install the necessary ones, run the scanners to check for malware infection(s), none were found, THEN run the F-Secure uninstaller, successfully removing Security Suite. THEN I had to run Firefox in Safe Mode to find and correct all the damaged website URLs the crash involved. Some 30(?) websites I could not get to until i repaired them. NOW, how do I get Firefox 137.x checked for conflicts with Spectrum Security Suite and have them corrected so I can have my Firefox AND Antimalware APP running together? I've been using Firefox for a while now, and I heard there's a new update available. I'm curious about what new features or improvements have been added in this latest version. I no longer update Firefox because each time I do, I lose all my settings and tabs. I don't understand why the developers haven't fixed this problem for years. Tank you.

The versions since 135 have been more trouble with the updated parts. I have in the past found a list of older versions to download not so now I find that version 135.01 is the last update that seemed to work the way needed after that install the things start to happen that i don't want or need. Question where can i get older versions of firefox?
