I got a message in my add-ons that an Extension called VNNet was disabled I was not able to get a quick screenshot of it, but I dont recall installing an extension like that

I play a game on Facebook - and i go to it from a link in my email - but today it says your browser does not support WebGL - this happened a month ago but I forget how it got fixed. :-(

it worked yesterday - and I checked for Firefox updates and it is up to date. last time this happened - I did read an article online that suggested to go to put about:support in the address window and under General it said to uncheck standard performance and to click on "use accelerated performance" - that fixed it.

This time when I go to about:support - "Use Hardware acceleration when available" is already checked. How do I fix it this time? and why does this keep happening every so often?

The latest Firefox update installed itself upon opening Firefox. It did not include my personalization. Specifically: - The color scheme was changed to from white to purple making the screens hard to read. - The right side window that had my bookmarks sorted into folders has disappeared. So, how do I get my color scheme and book marks menu back?

ello. My favorites have disappeared from my Windows 11 PC. It has happened once before and then I was able to get them back by deleting the sqlite file, now it doesn't work and I need your help with ending firefox processes etc.

For a few weeks now, Firefox desktop (on both Linux & Windows) prompts me on every start to create a new profile. I don't want to create a new profile, nor do I want to disable profiles completely, but most of all, I don't want to be repeatedly prompted. Another peeve is the repeated advertising of the new "summary" feature. New features should be offered *once* with an option to *permanently* dismiss the reminders! Failing this, there should be an option to disable the reminder in settings, without having to use about:config!

Firefox is causing my wifi adapter to shut down

Running firefox for any length of time will shut down my wifi adapter at a random moment. The only solution is reboot

Using opera, the problem does not occur, I can run opera continuously without problem. Running firefox at anytime will cause the fail at some point.

Im running windows 11 I have run firefox in safe mode Disabled all addons Set to “No Proxy” Disabled power saving on the adapter Replaced firefox with the ESR version 140.8 , previous version was the latest I note that there are up to 11 firefox process instances in task manager (all cleared when firefox is shut down) Firefox is set to update automatically Several updates have occured during this problem Disabled hardware acceleration Cleared cache Latest wifi driver And a few more that I cant recollect at the moment

Hello again. Yous answer Did you check the backups in the bookmarkbackups folder in the profile folder to see if there is a recent backup with a promissing bookmarks count?

Tell me why I have no sound on Firefox and how to fix it. I do have sound on DuckDuckGo and AVG Secure Browser. I have checked my sound setting 55% and not muted. I have shut down and started laptop, still no sound. I checked Firefox updates and am good.

After clearing Browsing data, therefore Loging out of twitch etc., i now constantly get the error "Browser not supported" on attempted login

Other Browsers (Chrome) work fine and ive already tried deleting Extensions and reinstalling the Browser to no avail

The same thing happens on my two Dell laptops (Inspiron and Latitude), and a Hyper-V VM (on my desktop PC). They all run Bazzite Linux 6.17.7-ba25.fc43.x86_64.

A video may play for a second or two, and then it's either a black screen, or an error message of "The content doesn't seem to be working."

On the same two laptops and VM, the Chromium Browser, and LibreWolf (a fork of Firefox?), have no issues playing the same videos.

Firefox version on all three systems is 147.0.3.
