Since the update I've had a few issues, most I was able to fix but this one eludes me. Opening up various news sites I get the "Firefox prevented this page from reloading" error at the top and clicking allow does nothing. Anyone know how to get around this error? I'm not looking to totally disable the FF feature that prevents other pages from loading a different one, but just to browse the website after hitting 'allow'.

I have "Don't enable HTTPS-Only Mode" selected and still cannot connect to local sites. Example http://192.168.1.81 is chnaged to https://192.168.1.81 and rrecive cannot connect message.

This problem started after you last week after an update.

All of a sudden my Apple laptop Firefox is responding VERY slowly. It takes about 10 seconds from hitting enter to any screen response. I've tried it with and without my VPN on, and there's been no changes to my Avast security software (that I know of). I've reviewed the settings/preferences without any clue about what is happening and what I could do to minimize it. I've run a speed check which resulted in 287 down and 190 up, so it's definitely NT my network.

For highly encrypted messages and sensitive information each time renewed or discovered for the first time cam be very intimidating for certain people. Based on the facts and past experiences, this has become extremely important to discuss and share knowledge with true and trustworthy people only to ours and others peace of mind and safety.

I just learnt that the mozilla firefox terms of service have been either updated, or previously included, a clause of sorts that states that any content uploaded to mozzilla is automatically given a royalty free worldwide license to mozilla itself. Does this apply to content such as add-ons only or does it apply to things uploaded to other websites(such as social media, forums, etc)

I saw that firefox deleted all of its language about not selling user data and that has me concerned. I chose to use firefox in a large part because I did not want my data to be sold and this change has me preparing to change browsers this week. Can you please offer a thorough explanation about why firefox is going back on a policy that it once claimed it "never have and never will"? How is my data being used, sold, and profited off of by firefox with this change? Is there a way for me to opt out of my data being sold?

For the past few days when I use Firefox and Thunderbird my entire screen will randomly start to flicker, at times very quickly and rarely the entire screen goes black for second or two. This behavior immediately stops when I close the app. It does not happen with any other app. I've tried disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox and that didn't help. Both apps are on the latest version and I also updated my video driver. Tried removing the two add-ons I have. I'm on Windows 11 Firefox 136.0.

I am using Firefox for so many years now, with some donations now-and-then, but due to the recent change of data privacy policy on your website, I am somewhat worried...

Firefox is the only browser left which is not controlled by Big-Tech. So if Mozilla has some problems with money, I would prefer to pay a subscription rather than seeing my data sold to some tech company. So if you guys need some money, please ask for some monthly subscription first before making a deal with the devil... I mean, I would rather buy an annual license for Mozilla VPN although I don't need VPN, than seeing Firefox going down the drain. I don't want google to have even more data... Несколько месяцев мне говорили что разбираются а сегодня написали что проблем нет из службы поддержки игры и отправили решать проблему с браузером в службу поддержки браузера mozilla ссылаясь на то что он не корректно работает и у меня старая ос. Помогите решить проблему я уже не знаю что делать.

Last week, I downloaded Firefox to try out and I liked it. My intention was to keep my personal browsing separate from my corporate browsing.

However, I was shocked to discover that my Microsoft Wallet in my corporate Microsoft Edge had been completely emptied! Puzzled and eager to regain access to my password-protected accounts, I remembered logging into LinkedIn via Firefox just moments earlier. Obviously, Firefox had my passwords. I used MS Wallet to import my passwords from Firefox, back to my Microsoft Wallet.

But how did all my passwords end up in Firefox in the first place? Even if I imported them, does that mean the MS Wallet needs to be wiped? I'm extremely disappointed in Firefox. This is terrible programming.

I'm not staying on Firefox after the TOS update and I would like to submit a GDRP erasure order to Mozilla. what email would be appropriate to send that to. or even better a way to opt out of the TOS and have whatever data was already collected/sold removed from all party's servers.

When viewing a PDF, I selected some text, right clicked and chose the "Highlight Selection". The selected text was not highlighted. Instead, the "highlight" button on the top right corner pop up and the freehand highlight was triggered, while all my previous selection was lost.

I image this was not the intention of the "highlight selection", and I was also wondering if there is a shortcut for highlighting text in pdf.
