I use to have the bookmarks show up on the left side of the screen at all times when I opened Firefox. Now, for some reason, I have to go to the bookmarks in the help area to find what I am looking for. How do I have the sorted bookmarks show up on the left again?

Firefox did some update and bookmarks disappeared. So I tried to restore the backup and it is also empty. In fact all the backups seem to not populate any bookmarks. I have another laptop and airdropped the backup file to that laptop to see if I could get the bookmarks back on firefox on there. It worth pointing out that firefox was not updated on my other laptop. When I tried to restore on the other laptop is erased the few bookmarks I had there but didnt give me the missing ones. So now I have 2 computers with no bookmarks.

Please help! Tried to restart , shut down, multiple times and nothing is working.

Every send address does this.

I cannot send to anyone but myself. I receive just fine. The problem is recent, a few days, but I can't be exact. I have rebooted and verified my address that I'm using. AHHHH!

At some recent point searches on companys' websites do not function in firefox where they used to and do using other browsers. I did not change settings in Firefox. Here is an example website: https://www.petsuppliesplus.com/ Their item search box appears to be disabled in Firefox.

I read an older thread on a similar issue and my Firefox Settings for Privacy and Security regarding History are set to Remember All History, so not set to private browsing.

When I start to log into one of my online accounts Firefox suggests several usernames. How do I tell Firefox to forget the extra/wrong ones?

I have been trying for several days to sync a new computer to my account. I have followed all the suggestions including adding accounts@firefox.com to my email client online. Still never receive confirmation code email.

Hi I have a website that is being blocked on my friends computer. When I go to the same website it is blocked as well. I have updated the Firefox software but still cant get to the website. It does work on google chrome but I want to use it on Firefox. any help on this?

Just being a 'user' , this is simply to report (and hopefully get it all working again) to the greater good on here and at Mozilla, that popup/ephemeral windows , or whatever they are called, in the 115esr release no longer function correctly (they did with the previous versions) with TWM window manager in this experience.

When clicking on a tool bar icon that launches a 'popup' type window, or in forms using 'drop down' controls for example, as soon as mouse moves over the popup or the popup gets focus, the popup gets closed immediately; it does not stay around to enough to allow a selection or whatever, as it should.

If one can 'tab' into a popup and use the keyboard (keyboard focus so to speak), then it is possible to access some options. The keyboard focus does not seem to cause an immediate close like the mouse does (as above).

As an aside, Chromium suffers the same now

It is something mouse related it seems and with how it all works with TWM - which is old, but as said, there was not a problem previously so whats changed in this version of Firefox browser to introduce this 'bug'.

Hi, I have spent hours this morning trying to diagnose a problem with Firefox Update 115. It is Unstable and I can't Stream Music from Youtube or even Amazon Music. Web pages from sites I use everyday are out of order when displaying text as well. It's a real mess. Now, here's the kicker, I haven't been able to stream my music from both aforementioned websites, but get this, if I use the Incognito Browser, Music streams No Problem. Seems like you guys broke something in the main FF browser. I have spent hours trying to debug this and have concluded that your most recent Update has broken streaming links. I can't rollback the Update and that is even more frustrating. Please Fix This. BTW, your Help Pages really stink. Sorry, but they offer no help when the problem is clearly FF. The settings page just shows a number, but no units as on my laptop's default font settings page. I think that they are pixels, but I'm not sure. I want to set my font sizes in points, so that the text will appear the same size on my laptop's screen as on my much larger external monitor.

I have a neuro issue where these trigger my migraines.

And they've become standard web design.

I currently reduce layout.frame_rate to 1, which *helps* unsmooth scrolling animation. That's often enough to navigate pages with narrow sidebars, or with good visual contrast between the sidebar and the content. But it's not enough on pages with extra-wide sadobars and no visual contrast, such as Wikipedia's "Vector" redesign, or the Internet Archive's latest redesign:

I can force Wikipedia into mobile, which helps, but I'm not aware of a similar fix for the Internet Archive, and really need a global fix.

I can get reasonable behavior from the Internet Archive if I reduce the window to about 640 pixels, ... but instead of a non-scrolling sidebar taking 1/3 of the screen, I end up with a non-scrolling desktop taking up 2/3 of the screen!

I messed up. After downloading the latest version an erroer [failed to read config file came up each time I started. So I googled and the common answer was to reinstall. Idiot that I am I did notg back up bookmarks etc and so lost them all. I uised Recuva to retrieve deleted files and found 2 files places.sqlite-wal and places.sqlite.shm Is there any way to put these in the new Mozilla somewhere? I write now and all my research links were in there. Would be great to get them back somehow.
