How do you reach an actual person that knows ANYTHING???
I AM GOING INSANE. NO MATTER WHAT I DO...REMOVE, REINSTALL, DELETE, ETC.ETC. I CANNOT GET FIREFOX TO START UP AGAIN. THIS POS SCENARIO STARTED WHEN I TRIED TO MOVE A PROFILE FROM MY LAPTOP TO MY DESKTOP. I HAVE SUCCESSFULLY DONE THIS BEFORE...IN REVERSE...AND NOW CAN'T GET ANYTHING TO WORK. WHY IN THE HELL IS THERE NOT TECH SUPPORT THAT SOMEONE CAN CALL ON THE GDAMN PHONE?

Having sat here for hours, I finally kept deleting the program and removing the files under the Mozilla header in Windows Explorer. After numerous add/remove programs, etc....I FINALLY went to Youtube and watched a video.
It took a bit of tweaking the security file, but now seems to be operating.
It basically drives me nuts that explanations are touted as being simple, but they require too much 'language' that isn't in everyone's vocabulary. Mozilla should make it much simpler: Put in flash drive, click "put everything here", move drive, click "put it here'.
Simple, right?
Thanks.

See:
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Also also make sure that you still have a default Firefox profile folder.
