Swiping to open a large amount of inactive tabs on android no longer works

A few days ago, I was able to go to my list of inactive tabs, click on one to open it, and then swipe through tabs in order to open a large amount of them at once. Today, this no longer works. Is this an update or a bug? There's no other good way to open a large amount of inactive tabs at once.
