New Vertical Side Bar Colors Do Not Match Browser Settings

I am currently using Firefox Desktop Version for Mac 137.0.1. I tried to use the new vertical side bar instead and even though my browser is in dark mode, the vertical side bar is in light mode. Please, see attached image.
