REMOVE email from the Correspondence column

It should be very simple and no add on needed.

For some reason, all of a sudden, in the correspondence column it ALSO shows the email address.

All I want is for that to be removed. That's all.

It can be switched off. Go to Settings and look for Reading & Display. Under that is Message List with three options: to show name and e-mail address, e-mail address only or name only.

I'm not seeming to remove emails based on the Correspondents column.

I go into the filters rules and add the Correspondents tag to the list (as shown in the image below),

and I put in the information in the filter to eliminate the email based on the information in the Correspondents column and it misses (see the image below)

I'm not quite sure what I'm not doing correctly.. any help would be appreciated. I'm using Thunderbird 128.6.0esr (32-bit)
