Unable to watch Youtube EVEN in safe mode AND clearing my cache/cookies

Basically the subject! suddenly was unable to watch ANY youtube video. I cleared my cache 2x, restarted firefox, started it up again in safe mode, nada. I was only able to use youtube in Chrome. Any ideas on waht it might be? I'm stuck in the eternal buffering wheel of "If your video doesn't start soon, try restarting your device".
