Tabs did not reopen upon startup.

My Firefox browser kept freezing up and acting very slow so I closed it. When I reopened it all my tabs did not repopulate like normal. None of them. I have the box checked to reopen all tabs on restart and it has always worked, not this time. Why! How can I get them back. Thanks, Aldo
