Crashing on startup Win 11

Firefox has just started crashing on startup every time I try to open it out of the blue with no changes to anything in the browser. I've tried opening in troubleshooting mode, still crashes instantly. I've refreshed, revo uninstalled and cleaned everything firefox related off my system and reinstalled but still have the exact same issue with a fresh install.


I managed to get the crash log from the backed up folders when it reinstalled. Any suggestions?

We're sorry to hear that your Firefox seems to be crashing when you open it. Please perform the following steps to give us a crash report ID that helps us find out more about the cause of the crash.

  1. On the keyboard, press [Windows] The image "Windows key" does not exist. + [R]. This should bring up a Run window that contains a text field.
  2. In that text field, type %APPDATA% and press Enter. An explorer window should open.
  3. From that explorer window, double-click on the Mozilla folder, then double-click on Firefox and then on Crash reports. Double-click on submitted.
  4. Now, you should see a list of files that contain reports. Go to View > Arrange Icons by > Modified to get the most recent files at the top of the window.
  5. Open the most recent 5 files with a text editor and copy the IDs.
  6. Paste each ID with bp- into the reply window on the forums.

What do you mean here? So is this factory OEM reinstall or custom install? You sure this isn't related to Video chipset caused? As you said reinstalled and problem happens.

Fully wiped SSD, fresh windows install off a bootable USB drive. I also tried wiping my AMD display drivers with DDU, swapping my AMD graphics card with my old Nvidia card and installing Nvidia drivers and still the same issue. Memtested RAM, stress tested CPU etc. BIOS updated.

Beyond the crashing issue. So this isn't factory install restore? What kind computer is your computer? If factory not DIY computer did you try to restore from the factory image or Drive to verify something is going wrong? And you sure Window 11 isn't the cause of the software error? If this came with Windows 10 factory I would say that is what you should be tried first to check all install environment is functioning and nothing is failing.

I built this PC two weeks ago, it's not a factory built PC. Everything was running fine until the day I made this post. I reverted back and installed a fresh version of Win 10 to rule out Win 11 being the issue, but it made no difference.
