Why does my page say "Looking up [websitename] and not load the page?

As noted above, I cannot access any web page in firefox. It will say "Looking up espn.com" for example, but the page will never load. I do not have this issue with any other browser.

I tried loading in safe mode, refreshing firefox, changing proxy settings and accessibility settings with no luck.
