Since the new upgrade, I cannot make an attachment to an email, the window freezes and I need to force a shutdown to free it, will the re be a patch developed ?

Since the new upgrade, I cannot make an attachment to an email, the window freezes and I need to force a shutdown to free it, will there be a patch developed soon to fix this problem? I rang my Tech and he took control of my machine in in Team Player and couldn't get it to work as well. He believes that the upgrade has caused this problem to arise.
