Hello. I have been having this problem for months now, and I've tried multiple times, but given up all the times because the problem gets more and more complicated. Then I decided to create a account in the mozilla support section and see if someone can help me. I am currently using a Mac.

Anyway, as the title says, it's about adobe flash player. I can't install it. I download it via Firefox (I've tried using Safari too, didn't work), and what I am trying to do is update. I already have the plugin installed on Firefox, I can see is at the plug-ins section, but, as I said before, it is outdated. It has been blocked by Firefox. When I go to the site which provides the download link for the most recent update, the Adobe website, everything works perfectly. I open the disk in my desktop, and then the installer. I go through every step until the last one: the installation. I click Install, it starts installing, but then says: "Application inicialization error." and just that. Then it automatically redirects me to a page with provides me the link for support at the Adobe website. I've read each suggestion they have to fix the problem, no one of the does.

I've found some other people who I think had a similiar problem, but their solutions didn't work for me. One think I don't really know how to try is a different option, I read somewhere something about .MSI or whatever, I don't know where to get those. The thing is, the Adobe flash player plugin works well, but on every site I haven't visited before, asks me: "Allow the outdated flash player plugin to run on this website?" And then I can refuse it, Allow now or Allow and remember.

Of course I can just allow and remember but it's annoying to have a outdated plugin which is vulnerable. Sometimes, the flash player installation window pops up in my screen, separated from Firefox, asking to update, I try it through there, also doesn't work.

I hope you understand me, my grammar is not 100%. I'll put a image of the error message. Thank you so much.

I'm not a Mac user so can't give specific info on where to look, but it sounds as if either Flash hasn't been fully uninstalled, or you may have some security software or firewall which is interfering with the download.
