Will Flash Player still be usable for client-side apps that are not video or advertising, as of 2017?

I have some old apps written in ActionScript (or Flex) that require Flash Player. These do not display video or advertising. Will these still be usable after Flash is curtailed in 2017, or will Flash be eliminated completely? I need to know whether I must rewrite these apps in Javascript. Users of these apps are primarily, but not exclusively, Windows users.
