Firefox does not open - just shows up as a background service in Task Mgr
After an upgrade to Windows 10 1607 my system lost all connectivity so I rolled back to 1511. Since then Firefox will not load. It appears in the Task Manager as background service.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times with iobit. I have deleted existing profiles and profiles.ini.
I can not start in Safe Mode. I can not access the Profiles Manager.
Could this be a network adapter problem? Thanks so much for all your help. I miss using Firefox!

Do you have Firefox 49.x ? Could you try FF 48.0.2 ?
I have 49 - I can try 48 but I think it's a networking problem - I also can't click on links in Outlook.

I found it, installed it , it opened minutes after I clicked on it - I started installing extensions - restarted it and the problem recurred. I've uninstalled it, reinstalled it, clicked on it and I'm waiting to see if it might open in 5 minutes or so.
I wish there was an error msg of some sort. Thanks again for your help! It just opened after about 4 minutes!!! With all of my extensions!
So - it's opening and working properly but it's taking about 3 minutes to launch!! Might be an xmarks issue.
