Firefox has quit opening links. Could this be caused by Microsoft Office 2010 updates of the 29th???

As in the question

Are these links in Microsoft Office documents, or Outlook messages? I'm not sure of the connection with Microsoft Office.

I made IE11 the default browser and closed browsers, then made Firefox the default browser then restarted Firefox and voila, alls good.
