I have various shortcuts saved on the shortcut page comes up after logging in. Its set to 2 rows.. I use it every day. Used it this morning and working perfectly. Been out and when I came back the page is totally blank. I've tried sytem restore to 5th October but makes no difference. I use Windows 10 and read that Firefox are continuing to support Windows 10 I'm visually impaired and use a desktop PC with a large screen. I'm not PC techically knowledgeable. How do I restore my shortcuts or how do I re create them?

I know the sites are secure (unless something is happening that I don't know about). I just want to get onto them, especially the Christmas site. Is it to do with Bitdefender?? I hope someone can help as the letter I want to write is getting time sensitive.

Just noticed this starting yesterday. Possibly it started when Ffox updated to v144.0 and I just didn't notice immediately.

I use the address bar (location bar, awesome bar) for searching (with Google, per settings). Up until very recently, the result of hitting Enter after entering my search string would be the URL for the Google results. This can be very handy to copy; e.g., when offering citations during an online discussion.

However, I don't see the URL anymore. After pressing Enter, my original search string remains there, in the address bar. That's not what I want. Using Google means my original search string is right there at the top of the page, in an input field, that can be made active with a single keystroke. Therefore, if it is intended to be helpful by keep the contents of the address bar what they were before I pressed Enter, may I just say that it is not.

Note: I can get the old desired behavior by going to google[.]com and entering the search string there, but that's an annoyance, after years of being able to simply hit Ctrl-L.

Attached is a screenshot of what I now see. Note what's in the address bar -- my original search string. Previously, it would have been something like "https://www.google.com/search?q=this+is+a+test&sca_esv=[ ...]"

ZIMBRA sous FIREFOX semble ne pas supporter les mails au format HTML Problème quand je fait suivre (forward) ou quand je réponds à un mail rédigé en HTML. I now have to right click the password field and select which password I want to use, this is cumbersome and counterintuitive, there is NO hint that password autofill is still there, WTF? if you're dead set on this "new way", how can I have the old way back?

Hello. I cant login with firefox today. It says wrong password, but i tried with google chrome and i can login. Its seems the problem to be related to only firefox. I tried deleting the cookies and stop extensions, try to login with private browsing, refresh firefox and i still cant login with firefox. I dont get e-mail if i try to reset password with firefox while with chrome i get. Yesterday everything was fine.

You could make it a simple process to delete empty bookmark tags. Surely you have top computer people working for Mozilla

Or at least get an expert from somewhere to come up with a solution to people that are not very computer savvy. So frustrating. What is even more frustrating I have no confidence that you will not be able to come up with solution.

Onedrivelive.com displays (now already 2 months) a blank screen when opening from a "your memories from this day" email (coming from ******@onedrive.com ). Screen of rolling, blank gibberish appears. And by gibberish I mean the screen is brownish with waves of dark/light color going back and forth across the screen. it only happens when I open the link in Firefox, NOT for example in Edge. WHY IS THIS ERROR IN FIREFOX?

I wanted to open firefox and a new window for new firefox open but did not suggest me to sync my old bookmarks. instead it only asked me if i wanted to sync with chrome browser only. why was i not allowed to save old bookmarks before new firefox updated.

"The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can caused this problem".

How do I resolve this problem?

I recently ported from chrome to firefox about 3 days ago and was tryin to access the dropdown menus on this website https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/governments/government-id/bc-services-card/your-card/get-a-card

I realized it wasn't working so I turned off my adblocker (ublock origin), refreshed the site and still not working.

Also attempted to use troubleshoot mode and still does not work.

Cleared cache + cookies and used troubleshoot mode and nothing working still.

I lastly checked the website was working by opening the same link on chrome after all that and it works perfectly fine over there. Any ideas what could possibly be the issue?? I basically have a fresh install of firefox with no changed settings besides anything that might of been copied over from Chrome when firefox automatically asks you to migrate your stuff over, and used the troubleshoot mode + clearing cookies and cache

I restarted Firefox today to find you have removed all my 100+ tabs, which I had arranged in folders, and replaced the vertical settings I had with Tree Style Tabs, which in the past has always run slow. I was greeted with childish graphics inviting me to set up a profile and offering me an introduction to Firefox. I have been using Firefox for years, mostly happily, until you screw up the view I had spent hours setting up. You are turning into a cheap Microsoft but with even less consideration for your users. I opened Firefox this morning and all of my pinned shortcuts have disappeared. Shortcuts are enabled in the settings. I checked the browser.newtabpage.pinned pref on the about:config and all of my pinned shortcuts are still there, but they're not appearing on the actual page itself. Are there any other settings that I'm not aware of?
